Mantras, Energy, Soul and You

Updated: Sep 6

We all are form of energy made by five elements, this form of energy keep changing its outer covering, as Bhagwad Gita said:

"For the soul there is neither birth nor death at any time. He has not come into being, does not come into being, and will not come into being. He is unborn, eternal, ever-existing, and primeval. He is not slain when the body is slain"

Mantra or मन्त्र in Sanskrit means tool of thought or mind, and as the quote says, what we think we shape ourselves knowingly or unknowingly, combing all four energy, soul, mantra and thinking we resonate,

How we resonate, soul is form of energy which merge into universe once we depart and that energy keep us working until we are alive, while mantra are tool for the mind and thoughts and what we think we shape for self and us,

If we are chanting mantras, we are using those tool to sync our soul, mind, thoughts and energy, this energy travels as words from us to outside world and around while syncing our mind, body and soul,

Now the energy traveling through us outside spreads to the surrounding and human around, and each of the mantra words has their own energy which produces vibrations, creating an energy level within and around us, providing us with the positive vibes and subliming bad effects within and around us, effecting others with positive vibes and elevating their energy too,

Not going much deeper, here I have written five major mantras which can be chanted by anyone for overall health and harmony in our and others life, none has inauspicious or negative effect when chanted, they just create eternal bliss and positive energy,

Aum or ॐ, it is also called Pranav or core to existence because its sound emanates from the Prana (vital vibration), which feels the Universe. The scripture says "Aum Iti Ek Akshara Brahman" (Aum that one syllable is Brahman), sum and substance of all the words that can emanate from the human throat. It is the primordial fundamental sound symbolic of the Universal Absolute, syncs your soul with divine energy creating eternal state of bliss and harmony, which resonates more when chanted more,

Om Namah Shivaya or ॐ नमः शिवाय, is also known as Siva Panchakshara, or Shiva Panchakshara or simply Panchakshara meaning the "five-syllable" mantra (viz., excluding the Om) and is dedicated to Lord Shiva and appears as 'Na' 'Ma' 'Śi' 'Vā' and 'Ya, mantra bestows deep spiritual experiences and even boons when practiced deeply and correctly, bring you very close to the divine inner nature within all of us, powerful healing mantra beneficial for all physical and mental ailments,

The Gayatri Mantra, the only mantra, where every single word is packed with power and energy and originated from the Rig Veda, the vibrations, created by the chanting of this mantra directly works on the chakras of the body, it not only raise your vibration but also the space in which you chant and will bring peace to your body, mind and soul, the Gayatri mantra will protect your body and mind creating an energy level around you syncing mind, body and soul,

or

oṃ bhūr bhuvaḥ suvaḥ, tatsa vitur vareṇyaṃ, bhargo devasyadhīmahi, dhiyo yo naḥ prachodayāt, Rigveda 3.62.10

Maha Mrityunjay Mantra or the Rudra Mantra or महामृत्युंजय मंत्र from Rigveda (RV 7.59.12), the greatest of mantras beneficial for mental, emotional and physical health and to be a moksha mantra which bestows longevity and immortality, mantra is addressed to Shiva for warding off untimely death, and when someone is really sick or needs divine intervention this is the mantra to be chanted for certain numbers of time for eternal benefits,

ॐ त्र्यम्बकं यजामहे सुगन्धिं पुष्टिवर्धनम्‌। उर्वारुकमिव बन्धनान्मृत्योर्मुक्षीय माऽमृतात्‌॥

or

oṃ tryambakaṃ yajāmahe sugandhiṃ puṣṭi-vardhanam, urvārukam iva bandhanān mṛtyor mukṣīya mā 'mṛtāt

Om Namo Bhagavate Vasudevaya Namah or ॐ नमो भगवते वासुदेवाय नमः, chanting this mantra keeps away all the negative energies from you and creates an invisible circle around you, which attracts all the positive things toward you,

I could have written more in detail about above mantras but the above five mantras are most beneficial and can be chanted by anyone as per their own comfort and need irrespective of who we are and where we are.

The above mantras are being chanted for over thousands of years and has been practiced in today world also, same like Hawan or Yajna or Yagyas help our home and surroundings to purify air and sanctify too,
